1. Introductory provisions and definitions
These Terms of Service (hereinafter the “Terms”) govern the mutual rights and obligations arising in connection with the use of the Svatební plán web and mobile application (hereinafter the “Application” or the “Service”) between the operator and its users. This English translation is provided for convenience; the Czech original is the sole legally binding version.
Operator: Tomáš Šesták, Business ID (IČO) 07175612, with registered office at Tylovo náměstí 650/4, 120 00 Praha 2, Czech Republic, a sole trader registered in the Czech Trade Licensing Register; not a VAT payer (hereinafter the “Operator”). User: Any natural person who visits the Application, creates a user profile (engaged couples), confirms attendance via a wedding website (guests), or accesses publicly available parts of the Service.
2. User account and registration
Full access to the wedding planner features requires free registration of a user account. When registering, the User must provide accurate and complete details and update them promptly if they change.
- Login credentials are confidential. The User must keep their password secure and not share it with third parties.
- The User has the right to delete their account at any time directly in the profile settings. Deleting the account permanently removes all stored data.
- The Operator reserves the right to terminate a user account in the event of a serious breach of these Terms or applicable law.
3. Services and pricing
The Svatební plán Service is provided in two main tiers:
Wedding planner (Free)
Core planning tools — including guest list management, wedding budget, wedding day schedule, and seating plan — are available completely free of charge and with no time limit.
Wedding website (1 499 Kč)
Publishing a custom wedding website with an interactive RSVP form, photo gallery, and venue overview costs a one-off fee of 1 499 Kč and includes 2 years of website operation. Payment never renews automatically.
All prices shown in the application and on the website are final. The Operator is not a VAT payer, so prices do not include VAT and no extra charges are added.
4. Payment terms and delivery of digital content
Payment for activating a wedding website is made online by payment card through a secure, certified payment gateway. The Operator does not store or process full payment card numbers.
Digital content is delivered immediately once successful payment is confirmed. A payment receipt is sent by email to the address provided by the User when ordering.
The wedding website remains active for 2 years from the date of activation. After that, it can be extended for another 2 years at the same address for 999 Kč. Extension is optional and never happens automatically.
5. Right of withdrawal and complaints
A User who is a consumer may withdraw from the wedding website contract without giving any reason within 14 days of payment, even if the website is already in use. Simply write to podpora@svatebniplan.cz.
We will refund the full amount paid within 14 days of receiving the withdrawal notice using the same payment method used for the original transaction. The wedding website will then be unpublished and deleted by the next day together with everything on it: your texts, photos from you and your guests, invitation links, gift reservations, and song requests. The website address is released for others to use. Your guest list with RSVP replies and all other planner data remain in your account.
The Operator is responsible for ensuring that the digital content matches the agreed description and features. The User may report defects in the Service by emailing podpora@svatebniplan.cz. We handle complaints promptly and no later than within 30 days.
6. User rights, obligations, and uploaded content
All copyright in texts, photographs, and materials uploaded by the User remains the sole property of the User. The User grants the Operator a royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to display this content solely as needed to operate the Service.
- The User must not upload content to the Application that violates Czech law, infringes third-party rights, or contravenes good morals.
- The User is responsible for ensuring they have permission from their guests before entering guest contact details into the guest list or planner.
- Any attempt to breach security, reverse-engineer the application, or scrape the supplier or template databases is prohibited.
7. Service availability and liability
The Operator makes every effort to ensure continuous and error-free operation of the Service. The Operator is not liable for outages caused by force majeure, technical failures on the part of internet service providers, or scheduled infrastructure maintenance.
The Operator bears no responsibility for relationships, agreements, or performance arranged between the User and third parties (such as wedding suppliers listed in the directory).
8. Out-of-court dispute resolution and final provisions
Legal relationships established under these Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, in particular Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code. The Czech version of these Terms is the binding contractual text.
The body responsible for out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes arising from the contract is the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce – ČOI), with registered office at Štěpánská 567/15, 120 00 Praha 2, Czech Republic, website: www.coi.cz.
